Next week the mom’s groups are having their last sessions before Christmas.  I have been busy crafting a game to play on Thursday at Mom’s Connect.

I won’t say too much for now, as I would hate to spoil the suprise, but it has led me to spend some happy time humming carols, cutting felt and printing bits on card.  I hope they like it.  If all fails I have a bag of chocolate to pacify them!

Tonight we have been at a friends for a gathering. We all brought dishes to share and we have had a very yummy evening all round.  We also brought wrapped gifts which were exchanged through a white elephant game.  There was lots of laughter as the rules for stealing another’s gift once it was unwrapped were discussed.

Friends make such a difference, we are so lucky to have the gift of friendship both here and at home in the UK.  Tomorrow evening the gathering will be a farewell as one of the families we have met here moves on.
