Tonight we went to a gathering at a friend’s who is moving to New Jersey.  A mixture of adults and kids filling the house with conversation and the noise of play.

Lots of lovely food and the challenge to reduce their stock of bottles for the move.

I’m still sipping the glass I brought home with me.

Earlier today we walked and cycled to the park, which is about a three mile round trip.  It was nice to be out in the fresh air.  Snow splattering the mountains in the distance following the bit of rain we had yesterday.  The temperature is now much cooler and it is a pleasant feeling to go out in long sleeves protected from the chilling wind.

We chatted with friends and family this morning taking advantage of a morning at home to catch up with the UK.  The time difference adds a challenge to keeping in touch, but it is lovely when it works out.

Everyone else is now sleeping, so time for me to rest too. More tomorrow.
